In order to get a larger digital footprint in the 'casual' gaming market, we came up with a plan together with a partner to spend two years bringing fun game concepts to market that are more commonly seen and played on PC. We believed that these games should have improved quality compared to the PC-counterparts. It should be functionable on console and very accessible for anyone. In part due to COVID-19 we quickly came up with the idea of developing a jigsaw puzzle line. We strived for excellent quality and have the features to play solo and with friends and family as well. Mindscape and its partner worked out the creative concept together, wrote the GDD and developed the products with a development team selected by the partner over the past years. Seeing that this particular line of products had to be accessible, the games were localized for more than 10 different languages. Meanwhile, our puzzle games are now played from Japan to the United States.
