Mindscape partners with Cosmocat for action-platformer Astral Flux
AMSTELVEEN, NOVA SCOTIA - August 29th, 2024 – International publisher Mindscape and Cosmocat Games are excited to announce their partnership on the continued development, localization, and post-launch support for the innovative action-platformer Astral Flux.
Astral Flux is a 2D action-platformer that combines roguelite elements for an ever-evolving challenge. Players will embark on an epic journey with two scavengers lost in space, who find themselves caught in the midst of an intergalactic mystery. Explore hostile alien planets, uncover dark secrets, and face off against formidable foes. While death is inevitable, it also offers a new beginning. To unravel this cosmic enigma, players must continuously sharpen their skills, using the knowledge gained from each previous attempt to forge a new path forward.
Under this publishing deal with Mindscape, Astral Flux will be available on Steam in French, German, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese for the very first time. A brand-new demo is available now, and the full game is set to receive its third free content update soon. Following the successful releases of the Artifact Hunter and Balance of Power updates, the next free content update, Submerged, will introduce an underwater-themed planet filled with ancient horrors and dangerous new enemies.
Immerse yourself in the world of Astral Flux as you travel through remote dimensions and explore ancient alien ruins. The universe is brimming with secrets waiting to be discovered.
